Executive Council

EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

LICA is established and governed by our Articles of Association which recognise each enrolled parent and teacher as a Member of the Association.

The Association is responsible for establishing an Executive Council that consists of Ten members. Two are appointed from the parent association.

The role of LICA Executive Council include the following:

  • To be critical thought leaders for the Academy, ensuring meaningful generative discussions bridging between awareness of the evolving local and international context of the Academy and consistent application of the Academy’s mission and vision in planning and decision making for the Academy.
  • Strategic planning to look forward with aspiration for the future of LICA, creating a plan on a cyclical basis to establish the medium to long term goals of the Academy, and to monitor and evaluate its implementation.
  • Fiduciary responsibility overseeing the Academy’s finances, including review of annual budgets and long-term planning for the financial security of the Academy.
  • To set and administer the policy of the Academy aligned with the school’s philosophy and objectives.
  • To recruit, select and appoint the Head of Academy and delegate to the HoS the operation and management of the Academy.
