PARENT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION
The purpose of the LICA Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to create a supportive and sustainable relationship between all members of LICA, creating a strong community.
Landa International Christian Academy (LICA), believes that a productive partnership between the Academy and families is an essential component of student success. The PTA helps bring our community together in support of student learning through:
- open communication
- planning events
- creating new initiatives
The PTA is a network of parents and school representatives working together to develop an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for students, families and staff.
LICA PTA Aims
- Function as a forum of communication between school leadership and the parents sharing ideas and thinking creatively as the school continues to improve and develop.
- Serve as a resource of information, support, engagement and innovation for the LICA community including new families.
- Develop events and structures to build community and engage families in being a part of LICA.
- Build connections with partners in the wider Uganda community to support projects at LICA.
Joining the PTA
All LICA parents, guardians and teachers are automatically members of the Parent Teacher Association. Join us throughout the year to meet and plan together, volunteer or attend an event.

- quiz night
- supporting sporting events
